What I love about Andy Seed’s books is his ability to put humour into non-fiction. Such a great combination to engage all readers but specially reluctant readers. This is the third book in the ‘Interview with an Animal’ series. A brilliant format where in a chatty style author Andy Seed interviews a selection of animals. The interview format makes this a great book for sharing, as one person can ask the questions and another can answer them.

This book focuses on a group of animals called the Marsupial's, most of which have pouches for their young and the most famous of which is the Australian Kangaroo. But, there are also many less well known and intriguing Marsupials, you will have to read the book to find out more. A light hearted conversation combines with good factual information about the nature and lives of each animal,. Readers of all ages will learn a lot about these amazing creatures. Highly recommend for curious 5 to11 year olds.
